It is found in cavities and veins of altered basalt in the mountains above the village of Baoruco, in Barahona Province. The gold plating is covered by a one-year warranty: if a claim is approved, we will re-plate the pendant (the warranty does not cover the chain). The plating can also be refreshed later at our workshop — the boutique can provide the price and turnaround time.
