Labradorite Necklace
An unpolished piece of labradorite from Brazil, set in gold-plated silver. At first glance, the stone is gray; blue and green flashes appear only when the light hits it at a specific angle - and disappear with the slightest movement. The irregular surface makes the flash emerge in patches, in several places at once. The gold plating of the setting warms the stone's steel-gray tone by one shade. The chain is 45 cm long; the longer 63 and 83 cm options fall to the chest and lower.

About the stone
Labradorite is a feldspar from the plagioclase series that forms in mafic igneous rocks. The mineral's name refers to the Canadian Labrador Peninsula, where it was first described in detail. It has an opaque, steel-gray base and a strong luster. Through labradorescence, the interference of light in thin layers inside the crystal, the stone displays multicolored, metallic flashes. Care
Clean the necklace with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding contact between the gold-plated silver or stone and water or perfume. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewelry box.
