A raw rock crystal obelisk from Brazil set in gold-plated silver - the stone hangs vertically and sways gently as you walk. It is as transparent as ice; daylight passes through it and brightens along the internal fractures, which are a natural feature of the crystal. The crystal is unpolished - it has retained its natural faces. On the 63 cm chain, the obelisk hangs at the chest; 45 cm holds it higher, while 83 cm places it below the bust.

About the stone
Rock crystal is the purest, colorless variety of quartz, consisting mainly of silicon dioxide. It forms through hydrothermal processes, crystallizing at temperatures between 100 and 400°C. It is characterized by absolute transparency, which led the ancient Greeks to consider it eternally frozen ice. Its hardness is 7 on the Mohs scale, making it a durable mineral.
