Rock Crystal Druze Necklace
A druse of rock crystal from Brazil - a cluster of white, transparent crystals with an irregular surface, set in gold-plated silver. The stone has no single sheen: each facet reflects light separately, so the pendant gives off cool flashes when you turn your head or the lighting changes. Warm gold plating against icy white is the only color in this pendant. The chain is 45 cm (with 3 cm of adjustment), with 63 or 83 cm options.

About the stone
Rock crystal is the purest, colorless variety of quartz, crystallizing at temperatures from 100 to 400°C. It is characterized by absolute clarity, resembling frozen water. Because of this immaculate purity, the ancient Greeks believed that the mineral was eternally frozen ice that could not melt. Today, it is valued for its geometric structure and raw, natural forms.
