Amethyst Druze Necklace
A heart carved from Brazilian amethyst druze: a smooth, dark-purple edge and a raw, crystalline interior, set in gold-plated silver. The crystals inside are small and dense, with their colour transitioning from deep purple to lighter, almost colourless tips - a natural zoning effect in amethyst. The gold plating on the setting remains the only warm accent. Choose the chain in one of three lengths: 45, 63, or 83 cm.

About the stone
Amethyst is one of the most prized varieties of quartz and has been used in jewellery since ancient times. This mineral forms in basalt geodes, and its distinctive purple colour is due to the presence of iron atoms in its crystal structure. The specimen presented here is distinguished by natural, fluid transitions in tone, from light lilac to deep, saturated purple. Care
Protect the amethyst from prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent it from losing its colour, and wipe the gold-plated silver only with a dry, soft cloth. Store it in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of a jewellery box.
