For one student, the Amethyst Happiness Bracelet for 69 zł is enough. It has an adjustable clasp, so you can buy a gift for a female or male teacher without asking about their size. For the whole class, choose a small symbolic gift. Teacher's Day, officially National Education Day, falls on Wednesday, October 14 this year.
- When: Wednesday, October 14. There are no classes in schools that day, so check which day the class gives the flowers.
- From one student: an amethyst bracelet for 69 zł or a rock crystal bracelet for 79 zł, both in one size.
- From the whole class: a small symbolic gift instead of an expensive present, such as a zodiac sign bracelet for 79 zł or a silver chain for 89 zł. Before collecting money, check whether the school has gift-giving rules.

From one student: a bracelet you don't need to measure
Both models are Happiness Bracelets with one faceted stone on a nylon cord and an adjustable macramé clasp. The metal elements are silver or gold-plated silver, at the same price.
Amethyst bracelet
The stone is around 4 mm and sits between two metal beads on a heather-colored cord. Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz, and its color is caused by traces of iron and natural radiation. It suits both women and men, so it works for both a female and a male teacher.
Rock crystal bracelet
The stone is smaller, around 3 mm, and the cord is beige. Rock crystal is a colorless variety of the same quartz. If you don't know which colors the teacher wears, choose this one instead of the purple one.
Add a card to the bracelet that the child writes themselves, even if it is just two sentences about a lesson they remember.
From the whole class: a small stone gift instead of an expensive present
A teacher at a public school holds a public office, so it is better for the whole class to give a small gift of symbolic value and avoid money and expensive presents. The Ministry of Justice considers a gift from the whole class on Teachers' Day acceptable. Before collecting money, check whether the school or parents' council has established rules for gifts for teachers.
Bracelet with a zodiac sign
If the class knows the homeroom teacher's date of birth, choose a bracelet featuring their zodiac sign. Bracelets in this series, available in silver or gold-plated silver, cost PLN 79, and the stones are matched to the sign: for Libra (September 23 – October 22), they are lapis lazuli, rose quartz and black tourmaline. The other signs are in the zodiac signs collection.
Hematite bracelet for a teacher
The 8 mm graphite hematite beads are strung on jewelry elastic. Choose the size according to wrist circumference: S (16–17 cm), M (17–18 cm) or L (18–20 cm). If you do not know the circumference, choose a bracelet with an adjustable clasp instead. We make men's bracelets in our Warsaw workshop.
Silver chain for your own pendant
The 925 silver ball chain is 45 cm long and costs PLN 89, while the longer 60 and 80 cm versions cost more. It is a gift for a female teacher who already has a favorite pendant or medallion but needs a chain.
Every order is gift-wrapped at no extra charge.
When to give it and where to buy it locally
There are no classes at school on Wednesday, October 14, so ask the homeroom teacher or class representatives whether the class is giving flowers and a gift that day or already on Tuesday, October 13.
The Commission of National Education was established by the Sejm on October 14, 1773, on the initiative of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. Polish historians consider it the first educational authority in Europe with ministerial status. The holiday commemorating its establishment was introduced in 1972 as Teachers' Day, and since 1982 it has been known as National Education Day. Under Article 74 of the Teachers' Charter, it is a holiday for all education workers.

Parents' questions
What can you give a teacher instead of flowers?
Something that will remain after the bouquet wilts: an amethyst bracelet to wear on the wrist or a silver chain for a favorite pendant, ideally together with a card from the child.
What are some small gifts for teachers?
A small gift could be, for example, a Luck Bracelet with amethyst for PLN 69 or one with rock crystal for PLN 79.
What should you buy a teacher as a thank-you gift?
As a whole class, choose a small gift of symbolic value: a zodiac sign bracelet for PLN 79, a hematite bracelet for PLN 70 for a teacher, or a silver chain for PLN 89. It is better to avoid money and expensive gifts.
