Choosing the correct ring size is the basic step to having comfortable natural jewelry that you will feel at ease wearing.
In this text, I will mention several factors that can affect our finger circumference and how to measure its size.
Depending on which hand you plan to wear the ring on, the circumference will differ. Right-handed people usually have about one size smaller circumference on the fingers of their left hand than on their right. The opposite is true for left-handed people.
When measuring finger circumference, the time of day is also important. It will be different in the morning than in the evening. Throughout the day, our hands react to temperature, so you will notice differences depending on the season. In summer, when it’s hot, fingers swell, while in winter they are slimmer.
Another factor affecting ring size is the shape of the finger. It is important that people with wide knuckles choose rings that slide onto the finger with slight resistance to ensure they do not slip off during the day.
The above tips should help you properly fit your jewelry. However, keep in mind that our stone rings differ from those made of silver, gold, or other metals. The stone has its own structure and porosity; some absorb more water from the body (e.g., opalite). Stone jewelry is also bulkier, making it harder to measure the size accurately. Its structure also affects comfort, so polished rings (smoky quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, opalite, malachite, howlite, onyx) will be narrower, less noticeable on the finger, and likely more comfortable. Rings from the exclusive collection (rock crystal, citrine, aquamarine, tourmaline, emerald) are heavier and bulkier than others, making them more noticeable on the finger while wearing. Rings with crystals (agate, amethyst) are also comfortable to wear and very striking. Stone rings - how to measure the circumference
To find the perfect ring size, you first need to measure the circumference of your finger. The easiest way is to use a tailor's tape measure, wrapping it around your finger so that it fits snugly but does not squeeze.
If that option is not feasible, the easiest and most accessible way to measure at home is to wrap a string around the widest part of your finger and then measure its length precisely with a ruler. Remember not to pull the string too tight, as the ring may end up too small. The number of millimeters obtained is the circumference of the finger, based on which we select the ring size.

In most European countries, ring sizes range from 4 to 34, in England an alphabetical nomenclature from G to Z++ is used, while in the USA sizes range from 4 to 14 (sizes have a wider range, and + and – signs are also used to indicate larger or smaller sizes, e.g., 4+ or 6-).
